Just got back from Thanksgiving Break in Indiana. Had a great time there visiting with my family from all around. The whole family got to come and it was also my cousin's wife's first time to have Thanksgiving with this family. And as weird as it may seem my family celebrates Christmas on the day after Thanksgiving (since chances are we wont be able to see each other during the real Christmas break). So after loading up on food on Thursday we spent the night on Friday exchanging gifts. Also in the town in Indiana where my grandparents live there are many amish. So we spent some time and went to the amish stores and even an auction. The auction was located in a tent and the auctioneer (old amish chap) was using a microphone to relay the everchanging prices to those looking on (about 90% amish). They were selling anything from bird feeders, homemade furniture, lawn mower engines, and even land. When we came out of the store we saw them all gathered around a whiteboard and the auctioneer was chattering away (nothing like you've seen on t.v., about 10x faster). Turned out that they were bidding on piece of land about 5 acres large. They had the price up to $60,000 when the auctioneer slowed down and started talking to the bidders. He explained to them that buying real estate is the best investment you will ever make, and even though it will take ten years or so to pay off it will be well worth it. Ten years to pay off $60,000+ ? Yeah right, these people are loaded. Did I mention that the average family has about 5-8 kids? Did I mention that each of these kids drops out of school after the 8th grade and begins a job? Did I mention that the parents get 90% of the kids "income" while they are still living with them? Not only that, but these people dont have to buy gas, pay cell phone bills, get tv's or have them repaired. These people truly are rich but they wont ever spend it on anything. Good and bad.

What a game. North Muskegon was very underrated going into this game. Their defense proved to be very good. Unfortunately this turned the game into a run down into their side with them in turn clearing the ball back to our side and the whole process starting over. Turned into a cycle for basically the whole game. Interrupted though by them scoring in the second half. Goal was taken back though cause the play was after the man was called offsides. Many people thought the call was questionable though. With about twelve minutes left Doran got a yellow card and was sent off. About 5 minutes later Rees got a yellow card for elbowing. A few minutes after that Edge hit the goalie in the six and did something to the ref I did not see. They played with 3/4 of their best players gone for the final 10 minutes. They stuck it out and made it into overtime. In OT they just crashed their side. NM seemed stunned. About a minute in their goalie picked up the ball with his foot (and ball) out of bounds. Ref did not seem to see it though (just like all the other plays). This play should have ended the game had it been called. But they had to wait until about 7 minutes into the OT. Big scramble in front of the net involving Edge, Rees, and NM keeper. All were on the ground poking at an unseen loose ball. Audience screams, Reees takes his shirt off and runs to the bench. Bench clears onto the field, jumps on Rees. Crowd can't stop cheering so begins "fight song." Mass confusion. State Champs!

It's coming!! NOVEMBER 18!! Waited a long time for this. So long in fact that it deserves a whole post devoted to it. Still don't know what it is? Well come to the Henry Ford IMAX on the 18th and find out.

So Im gonna try switching browsers and see if that resolves the problem. Been using the default browser Internet Explorer ever since I got this G4. Finally found the errors of my ways and switched to Safari, the commonly used Mac browser. Much better, even a wee bit faster. Even the websites have little icons next to their adress. Pretty cool. But I still have to take the time to change my default browser to Safari. Maybe I could just erase Explorer and free up some memory for a new game (possible Breakout, or if I'm lucky: Super Breakout).

For now I'm just going to have to experiment to find the problem of THE DISAPEARING POSTS. But let those blank posts be a sign to you that I have stayed true to my word and have posted more often.

True to my word, I am posting.

Just saw Stars Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Very good. Probably the best one of em all. Many sword fights and more loss of appendages than number of mac users. Interesting to see how the plot Lucas has develeped for 20 some years has finally gotten tied together. For those of you who have not seen it yet I would greatly encourage going out and buying it. Don't just rent it, this one's a keeper (LucasArts pays me to say that).

Some people out in viewer land seem to not be able to get enough of "PC Users in the Mist." I am under contract now to write a new excerpt by Christmas. Two things: 1) art cannot be rushed, 2)you pay me for my excerpts I'll rush all the art I can. So to those of you who enjoyed week 13 of the novel, be patient, more will come.

Currently working on the picture situation. Only Caleb Selstad can view the pics so far. He must be the Choosen One (haha, little does he know, please refer to paragraph 2 above).

Peace out

I am resolved no longer to linger, and to make an attempt to post at least 4-5x a week. Will be hard at first, I'll have to blog about simple things. But it is a goal.

This is a demonstration of what happens to your face when you got 150mph down a runway in a car with no windshield. Please do not try this at home. This is a trained professional (or a stupid Brit).

Still waiting for a new closing line. And if anyone knows how to make a link become text please speak up [ie. bob went to the MARKET in town (the all caps being the link, duh.)]

Peace out
